HOI AN- MY SON CYCLING TOUR
Pedal from Hoi An to My Son Sanctuary on a half-day cycling tour that explores small villages and rural landscapes. You’ll cover roughly 25km of quiet paths and country roads, getting an up-close look at daily life in the countryside, then visit the My Son ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage Site surrounded by thick jungle.
Itinerary:
Our cycling guide and driver pick you up at your hotel, transfer to our bicycle station, then get fitted with your bike and helmet and listen to a quick briefing. Once you’re all set, cycle the back street and along the quiet alleyways.
Following the Thu Bon river, we leave the city behind on our way to My Son, venturing off on to rural pathways accessible only to bicycles and motorbikes. We cycle through small villages, locals farms, greeting farmers along our way. Depending on the season, we pass rice, corn and even peanut fields…
Stop along the way for cold drink, fruit break to restore energy, before heading to the entrance to this UNESCO World Heritage site. We board electric shuttle bus to the main ruins. Then we walk to discover the ruins, and you are encouraged to take your time and see things at your own pace. When you ready, let your guide know and return to An by private support minivan.
