Day 1: Saigon – Cai Be – Vinh Long – Can Tho 
Meal: Lunch | Accommodation: Vam Xang Rustic Can Tho or Ninh Kieu Riverside (4★) 
Your guide meets you at 8:00 AM for a comfortable 1.5-hour transfer from Saigon to the gateway to the Delta. Here, in the refreshing countryside air, adjust your bicycles and begin pedaling into landscapes shaped by river life for centuries.
Your first impression is unforgettable: vast fields of dragon fruit, stretching across the horizon like rows of brilliant green cacti crowned with red jewels. This region is one of Vietnam's largest producers, and farmers often pause to wave as you pass by their orchards. 
Cycling along quiet village paths, you’ll enjoy warm greetings from locals heading to market, tending fields, or relaxing in hammocks outside their stilted homes. Short, meaningful stops along the way bring you closer to local culture. 
A delicious countryside lunch awaits, featuring Mekong specialties bursting with fresh herbs and vegetables. 
Afterward, cycle to Cai Lay and to Cai Be where narrow canals, fruit orchards, and shaded pathways reveal the Delta’s most authentic and untouched corners. Children often run alongside you, calling out cheerful hellos. 
Your day ends with a comfortable transfer to Can Tho, the Delta’s largest city. Settle into your rustic lodge or riverside hotel, breathe in the cool river breeze, and savor a relaxing evening at your own pace.

Day 2: Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Dong Binh – Saigon
Meals: Breakfast & Lunch | Cycling: ~45 km
Wake early for one of the most iconic experiences in all of Vietnam: a boat trip to the Cai Rang Floating Market. As the sun rises, dozens of wooden boats gather, forming a floating maze of colors and voices. Traders display pineapples, melons, jackfruit, and vegetables atop tall bamboo poles so buyers can spot them from afar.
The atmosphere is vibrant yet harmonious—boats gliding quietly, vendors calling out prices, the smell of fresh fruit in the air. It’s a rare glimpse into a traditional trading culture that has existed for generations.
Leaving the bustle behind, your boat transitions into smaller backwater canals, where palm-lined waterways lead you deeper into rural Can Tho. Here, life moves slowly—women wash vegetables at the river’s edge, children paddle tiny boats to school, and farmers tend their floating gardens.
Disembark and cycle through lush countryside. These trails are some of the most scenic in the region, passing: Shaded jungle paths, expansive rice fields, peaceful Khmer temples surrounded by towering palm trees.
The highlight of the day is an invitation into a local family’s home, where you’re welcomed like an old friend. Enjoy a traditional, home-cooked Mekong lunch—fresh, flavorful, and prepared with immense hospitality. 
After lunch, relax on the minivan ride back to Saigon. You’ll arrive around 5:00 PM, carrying not just photos but a deeper appreciation for the people, landscapes, and waterways that make the Mekong Delta so extraordinary.
