Situated in the heart of Vietnam central part, My Son temples and Marble Mountain are must see for any one visiting Hoi An. This small group tour ensures you a very personalized experience.

Itinerary:
Get on our private vehicle in Hoi An and transfer to My Son temples in the lush tropical valley approximately 75 minutes away. My Son was the religious center of Champa kingdom from the second century, now remaining with red brick towers and sanctuaries. It is older than some of Southeast Asia's greatest archaeological sites, including Bagan in Myanmar, Ayutthaya in Thailand and Borobudur in Indonesia. People consider My Son as the pre- Angkor in Vietnam as these towers and sanctuaries were built from the 4th to 13th century.
Upon arrival into My Son, you will enjoy holy Apsara dance which is performed by charming Cham ladies. Afterwards, your guide will take you into the sanctuaries, giving you the opportunity to walk and discover the old temples with its unique architecture, and learn more about the history and culture of Champa.
Leaving My Son, we take an hour drive to Marble Mountain. In late afternoon is the best time to visit this mountain. You will take the 1.5hr hike up the mountain steps. Your guide will help you to discover many natural caves in the mountainside which Buddhist sanctuaries have been built over the centuries. The Marble Mountains surrounding the area are five stone hillocks - once islands made of marble - and each is said to represent one of the five elements of the universe. Admiring the picturesque views of sun set along the way back to Hoi An makes a great ending for the day.

My Son temples and Marble mountain are fine to visit all year round, but can get crowded in the morning. If you wish to escape the tourists then the afternoon is better. Along the way back if there is a good sunset our guide will recommend stops for some photos as he knows the best location.
